Foinaven & Schiehallion BP

MCS Kenny contracted to provide subsea integrity management services for the West of Shetland Foinaven & Schiehallion fields.

Tombua Landana Chevron

Completed preliminary engineering studies, drawings, specifications & other documents required as input into export & tieback riser bid packages necessary for lump-sum EPCI bids.

Agbami Chevron

Performed review & assessment of flexible pipe qualification requirements for all three vendors for the Agbami field.

Independance Hub Atlantia

Completed the detailed design of the 17 steel catenary risers to the Independance Hub located in 8,100ft of water.

Ichthys Inpex

MCS Kenny provided initial technical support to Inpex for the conceptual selection of the flexible riser system for the Ichthys high pressure/high temperature gas development in 250m of water, offshore Western Australia. MCS Kenny then provided extensive Pre-FEED support for the flexible risers and umbilical system, preparing the specification and cost estimates/delivery schedules. MCS Kenny recently completed the full flexible riser FEED engineering for this project.

Van Gogh Apache

MCS Kenny provided initial conceptual selection of the flexible riser system to Apache for the Van Gogh FPSO development in 345m of water, offshore Western Australia. MCS Kenny developed the flexible pipe specification and design premise for the procurement of the flexible pipe, and managed the delivery of the flexible risers and associated ancillary equipment. The scope of work included designing the flexible riser system configuration (including umbilicals) and also the combined coupled vessel/turret/mooring evaluation, and the combined analysis, for the buoy/mooring/riser disconnect system.

MCS Kenny also performed the detailed global design of the flexible riser and flowline system (for Wellstream) and the detailed design of the riser base structures (for Apache).

During the installation campaign MCS Kenny provided offshore engineering support direct to Apache.

Kikeh Murphy Oil

MCS Kenny led the technical specification and acted as technical representatives to Murphy Oil during the initial design and bid reviews for the flexible risers and flowlines for the Kikeh deepwater project, located in 1,350m of water, offshore Malaysia. The initial scope of work was to develop the Flexible Pipe Specifications and Design Premise for the procurement of the flexible pipe.

MCS Kenny then participated in the technical bid appraisal process, and dealt with all technical clarifications relating to the flexible pipe design on behalf of Murphy Oil. During the design phase, MCS Kenny performed detailed verification of both the risers and flowlines to help achieve a robust riser design for the life of the field.
