Flexible Pipe JIP

The Flexible Pipe Technology JIP is reviewing current flexible pipe technology, including 17J/17B standards, in light of recent industry operational experiences, anticipated future needs and on-going developments in the technology.

SURF IM

The SURF IM JIP is reviewing current practice, gaps and failure mechanisms of SURF systems, and guidelines for integrity management of subsea systems. Potential new IM technologies and requirements will be identified, as well as a required near term technology development focus.

This JIP is jointly led by MCS Kenny and our sister company Wood Group Integrity Management (WGIM).

Slug Loading and Response in Pipelines (SLARP)

The objective of the SLARP JIP is to develop best practice approach to design analysis of pipelines, jumpers and risers subject to slug loading.

Component for Offshore Renewable Energy Systems (CORES)

Motions and mooring analysis and testing of new concept wave energy device.

Spirally Welded Pipe for Offshore Applications

Design guide and analysis techniques for spirally welded pipelines.
