The Ancillary Equipment JIP is currently supported by 13 companies to develop a specification document to ensure that flexible pipe ancillary equipment is designed, manufactured, qualified and installed to uniform standards and criteria. This specification will be submitted for adoption as an API standard specification in the third quarter of 2004 and will form a timely companion to the API Specification 17J and Recommended Practice 17B for Unbonded Flexible Pipes.
