Akpo Field |
MCS Kenny performed a detailed study on the steel tube umbilicals for the
Total Akpo Field development offshore Nigeria. The objective of
the study was to undertake a detailed evaluation of all critical issues
for this deepwater development, including impact of the manufacturing
process on the steel tubes, and estimation of fatigue damage experienced
in all stages (low cycle and high cycle) and installation issues, including
considering contingencies. |

MCS Kenny performed verification services for the 3” gas lift umbilical riser
from KOP for the Bonga Field development and also verification of other
steel tube umbilicals on the project. A particular focus of the
project is on verification of the installation procedures. |
