DeepRiser is an integrated software package developed specifically for the design and analysis of deepwater riser systems. The program combines an intuitive Graphical User Interface, allowing rapid data specification, with powerful analytical capabilities, to provide a comprehensive engineering tool for the design and analysis of deepwater drilling, top-tensioned production and catenary riser systems.
Underlying DeepRiser is the proven power of the Flexcom analysis engine. This means the program uses a state-of-the-art finite element formulation, incorporating a 3D hybrid beam-column element with fully coupled axial, bending and torque forces, for reliable and accurate modelling of slender offshore structures in both the time and frequency domains.
