MCS Kenny has developed a range of on-board riser operations planning and management software designed specifically for use on-board drilling rigs and floating production facilities.
The on-board software combines the proven capabilities of the industry-standard riser analysis tools Flexcom and DeepRiser with clear, intuitive operator interfaces that are designed with the requirements of offshore operational personnel in mind. The systems permit monitoring and planning of riser operations in prevailing or forecast metocean conditions, thereby assisting in operational decision-making.
All of the on-board tools have been fully proven in use offshore with operators reporting significant cost-savings from increased operational up-time.
The IRIS-RMS, DeepLand and DeepDrift tools are now provided as part of the Optima solution, which is supplied in partnership with Fugro Structural Monitoring, a division of Fugro GEOS.
